Penny Market

For a Penny Market in Popești-Leordeni near Bucharest, Desco supplied and erected the roof structure of the 3,512 sqm market hall. The project started in 2016 and was completed in 2017, with three months of actual construction time.

In retail, the opening date is everything. The roofing work was therefore built for speed: short erection windows, clean interfaces with the other trades, no rework.

The project shows that clearly scoped trades are not an afterthought for us: even a roof structure gets a fixed date — and keeps it.
